JAPAN DELIVERS EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE FOR TYPHOON FRANK VICTIMS

 

The Government of Japan decided today to provide emergency assistance amounting to approximately 20 million Japanese yen

(approximately 8 million pesos) for the victims of Typhoon Frank. Envisioned to alleviate the difficulties of the victims including those in

the Iloilo province , the assistance comes in the form of relief items which include sleeping pads, generators, water tanks , plastic

sheets.


The Government of Japan reiterates its commitment to assist the Philippine Government's disaster management efforts .
