Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Japan, a Japanese NGO, will distribute relief goods for the people affected by Tropical Storm Ondoy in the Municipality of Biñan, Laguna Province, as follows:

Venue : St. Rose Subdivision Multi-Purpose Covered Center, Barangay Malaban, Biñan , Laguna Province
Mr. Hidenobu Sobashima, Chargé d'Affaires of Japan, will greet the residents in Biñan and witness the distribution.
The Government of Japan has decided to contribute to Japanese NGOs' relief and medical missions for the people affected by Tropical Storm Ondoy, through Japan Platform (JPF), a humanitarian aid organization to help with emergencies outside Japan which comprises Japanese NGOs, and commercial and government institutions. To date, three JPF member-NGOs, including ADRA Japan, have dispatched their staff members to various areas affected by the calamity, with the assistance from the Japanese Government. The JPF's contribution is up to 30 Million Yen (approximately 15 Million Pesos or 330 thousand US dollars).
In response to the calamity caused by Tropical Storm Ondoy, the Government of Japan already delivered emergency relief goods equivalent to 20 million yen (approximately 10 million pesos or 220 thousand US dollars) to the Philippine Government on September 30.
