The Japanese Training Squadron Makes
Goodwill Visit to the Philippines

The Training Squadron of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, consisting of three vessels, JS SHIRAYUKI (DD123), JS MINEYUKI (DD124) and JS SETOYUKI (DD131), will be in Manila on a goodwill visit from 4 to 7 March 2010.
The ships will berth at Pier 13, South Harbor, City of Manila on Thursday, 4 March 2010 at 9:00 a.m. and will depart for Japan on Sunday, 7 March 2010 at 5:30 a.m.
The ships, with about 600 officers and crew members on board, including 100 newly commissioned officers, are under the command of Captain Makoto ITO.
The program during the ships' visit will include courtesy calls on ranking Philippine officials and friendly sports activities with Philippine counterparts.
