From Wednesday, June 27 to Friday, June 29, H. E. Albert F. Del Rosario, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines, will pay a visit to Japan upon invitation by the Minister for Foreign Affairs.

During his stay in Japan, Secretary Del Rosario is scheduled to hold a foreign ministers' meeting with Mr. Koichiro Gemba, Minister for Foreign Affairs on Thursday, June 28; to pay a courtesy call to Mr. Katsuya Okada, Deputy Prime Minister; and to hold dialogues with members of Japan-Philippines Parliamentarians' Friendship League.

As a result of Secretary Del Rosario's visit to Japan, it is expected that the strategic partnership between the two countries will be further enhanced through a wide range of discussions with regard to the efforts for further strengthening the bilateral relations and cooperation in regional and international issues.
