Japan-assisted e-Learning Facility for Japanese language school to be inaugurated
Japanese Ambassador Makoto Katsura will inaugurate an e-Learning facility on June 15, 2010 at the Nihongo Center Foundation (NCF) in Makati City. The completion of the Nihongo e-Learning facility project of the Nihongo Center Foundation was made possible through the US$43,764 grant assistance extended under the Grant Assistance for Cultural Grassroots Projects by the Government of Japan.
Ambassador Benjamin Sanvictores, NCF President and Chairman, will join Ambassador Katsura in leading the inauguration of the Nihongo e-Learning facility which will upgrade the teaching capability of NCF and make Japanese language learning more accessible to students with various needs. The facility will take advantage of advances in technology to reach out to a greater number of Filipinos who wish to learn Nihongo.
The grant assistance is a testament of Japan's commitment to promoting Japanese language education in the Philippines to foster better understanding and cooperation between the two countries.
