Visit to the Philippines of Mr. Norio Mitsuya,

Parliamentary Senior Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs

1. Mr. Norio Mitsuya, Parliamentary Senior Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, will visit the Philippines on May 7-9.

 

2. Parliamentary Senior Vice-Minister Mitsuya is going to meet with H.E. Mr. Albert F. del Rosario, Secretary of Foreign Affairs and other high-level officials of the Government of the Philippines. They will discuss bilateral and regional issues to further strengthen the strategic partnership between Japan and the Philippines, following up on the visit of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to the Philippines last July and Japan-Philippines summit meeting last December.
