The Japan Information and Culture Center of the Embassy of Japan is inviting all Japanophiles to the 2014 J-Pop Anime Sing and Dance Contest Grand Finals on Saturday, July 19 from 1 to 5 pm at the SM CINEMA Centerstage, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City. Admission is free.
Watch the top five dance category finalists, Junior New System, Seishun Kakumei, Team KMB Reverse, Team Mars and the UP Visayas Hublag Dance Company groove and move to the beat of J-pop.
Listen to your favorite J-pop and Anime songs as interpreted by the top ten singing category finalists, Ana Marie Enriquez Alforte, Drive Pedal, Hi-Ka-Ri*, Jennie Mae Baclao, Mitch Arceo, Seiza, Shaira Maine Gonzales, Tigerlily, Verna Paula Santiago and Vinar Takumi.
Enjoy special performances from Dorameon and friends and the Embassy of Japan's very own No Plan Band.
The 2014 J-pop Anime Sing and Dance Contest is organized by the Embassy of Japan in celebration of the Philippines-Japan Friendship Month this July, in cooperation with The Japan Foundation, Manila, Animation International, Center for Pop Music, HERO TV, Japanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry of the Philippines, Inc., Nihongo Center Foundation, SM Cinema, SM Lifestyle Entertainment, Inc., Systema Tooth and Gum Care, Toei Philippines, Inc., Yoshinoya, Ajinomoto Philippines, Bandai Philippines Inc., Canon Information Technologies, Inc., Canon Marketing Philippines, Hokkaido Ramen Santouka, Lotte, Panasonic, Sony Philippines, Toshiba and Yakult Philippines.
