Study in Japan! 2016 Japanese Government Scholarship:
Research, Undergraduate, Specialized Training College, and College of Technology Categories Open for Applications

 

 

The Japan Information and Culture Center (JICC), of the Embassy of Japan, is now accepting applications for the Research, Undergraduate, Specialized Training College, and College of Technology categories of the 2016 Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) Scholarship Program.

 

All Filipino citizens who meet the qualifications below are eligible to apply:

• College graduate preferably with 16 years of formal education
• Clear and feasible research proposal
• Good academic standing

Note: Applicants should apply for the field of study they majored in at university or its related field.

Undergraduate

• High School graduate
• Good academic standing

 

17 to 21

Application forms and detailed information on prerequisites are available at the JICC Library, or may be viewed and downloaded from the Embassy Website:

The deadline for submission of applications is on Friday, May 29, 2015, at the JICC Library. ONLY hard copies, preferably printed on A4 size paper, and mailed through courier or hand-delivered to the Embassy, will be accepted.

 

The application process consists of documentary screening, written exams, and an interview.

 

Free scholarship consultations are offered at the JICC Library every Friday from 9 AM to 12 PM, and 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Interested individuals and walk-in visitors are welcome, and need only present a valid ID to secure an entry badge to the Embassy premises.
