Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan to visit the Philippines

 

 

 

The Government of the Republic of the Philippines has long extended its invitation for Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan to visit the Republic of the Philippines.

 

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the normalization of the diplomatic relations between Japan and the Republic of the Philippines, in view of the friendly relations between the two countries, the Government of Japan has advised Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress to pay an official visit to the Republic of the Philippines next year.

 

The itinerary of the visit will be finalized based upon consultations with the Government of the Republic of the Philippines. Their Majesties are scheduled to leave Tokyo on 26th January 2016, and the duration of the visit will be five days.
