MESSAGE FROM FOREIGN MINISTER FUMIO KISHIDA TO SECRETARY YASAY ON THE BOMBING INCIDENT IN DAVAO

I am deeply shocked to learn that a bombing incident caused numerous casualties in Davao City. I firmly condemn this terrorist act in the strongest terms. I would like to pray for the deceased, and express my heartfelt sympathy to the injured and their families. I would like to express my strong solidarity to the Philippine Government and people. In this time of difficulties, Japan stands with the Philippines. Japan will continue to closely cooperate with the Philippines in tackling terrorism.
