Signing and Exchange of Notes during the Visit of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to the Philippines

On January 12, Thursday, after the Japan-Philippines Summit Meeting in Manila, Both countries signed and exchanged notes on the following cooperation projects:
Prior to the summit meeting, the Contract Agreements between NEC Philippines and PTV were signed. Based on these contract agreements, NEC Philippines will deliver six digital transmitters and related equipment which were first procured by PTV.

- Exchange Notes for Economic and Social Development Programme
- Memorandum of Cooperation for Joint Crediting Mechanism between Japan and the Republic of the Philippines
- Memorandum of Cooperation between the Japan Coast Guard and the Philippine Coast Guard
- Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan and the Presidential Communications Operations Office of the Philippines and People’s Television Network, Inc. (PTV)
- Loan Agreement for Harnessing Agribusiness Opportunities through Robust and Vibrant Entrepreneurship Supportive of Peaceful Transformation (HARVEST)
