On July 8, 2017, Ambassador Kazuhide Ishikawa hosted a reception in Cebu to celebrate the conferment and recognition of Mr. Onari’s contributions in enhancing the social matters Japanese – Filipino nationals in the Philippines and promoting mutual understanding as wall. The reception was attended and blessed by Agnes Magpale, Vice Governor of Cebu Province and Mr. Tomas Oemena, Mayor of Cebu City, Representatives of Nikkei Jin Kai, Relatives and Friends of Mr. Onari.
