Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Suzuki meets with Acting Secretary of Foreign Affairs Abella

Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Norikazu Suzuki，who visited the Philippines as head of the Japanese monitoring mission during the January 21 plebiscite on the Bangsamoro Organic Law, met with Acting Secretary of Foreign Affairs Ernesto Abella on January 22 at the Department of Foreign Affairs.
 
They discussed cooperation between Japan and the Philippines in areas of mutual concern, including the Mindanao peace process. They agreed to strengthen cooperation between both countries to further enhance their bilateral relations.
