Embassy of Japan Supports “Olympic Day – Lakad Para Atleta”

On June 22, 2019, the Embassy of Japan supported the “Olympic Day – Lakad Para Atleta” event organized by the Philippine Olympic Committee. The event was held at the College of Science Oval in the University of the Philippines – Diliman campus.
Attendees were excited to know more information about the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games, motivated to watch the games in Tokyo! Many of them also enjoyed taking pictures with the photo wall of 2020 Summer Olympic Games mascot Miraitowa and 2020 Summer Paralympic Games mascot Someity.
The audience was also regaled with exhibitions of various sports including arnis, skateboarding, and karate. It was truly an event that made people even more excited for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
