Japan Professional Basketball League “B.LEAGUE Finals 2021-22 Watch Party”

On 28 May 2022, the B.LEAGUE hosted “NISSAY B.LEAGUE FINALS 2021-2022 Watch Party” at TITAN Fort, Bonifacio Global City. Co-hosted together with SLAM and Titan, the Watch Party is the B.LEAGUE’s gesture of gratitude for its growing following in the Philippines. Ambassador Kazuhiko KOSHIKAWA attended the event, along with five (5) Filipino athletes in the B.LEAGUE - Thridy Ravena (San-en NeoPhoenix) Kiefer Ravena (Shiga Lakestars), Javier Gomez de Liaño (Ibaraki Robots), Kemark Cariño (Aomori Wat’s), and Bobby Ray Parks Jr. (Nagoya Diamond Dolphins).
 
Prior to the Watch Party, Ambassador Kazuhiko KOSHIKAWA shared a special message to the guests and audience. In his remarks, Amb. Koshikawa expressed gratitude to the Filipino athletes playing in the Japan B.LEAGUE. Highlighting the impacts of these crossovers to the bilateral ties of Japan and the Philippines, Amb. Koshikawa called it a “slam-dunk” for Japan-Philippine relations.
 
Furthermore, guest athletes also took part in a Talk Show where they discusses about the B.LEAGUE, life in Japan and more. The athletes also answered Fan questions during the Q&A segment of the show. The program was live-steamed on the official Youtube channel of the Japan B.LEAGUE.
