Ambassador Haneda pays farewell courtesy call on President Duterte

Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of the Philippines, His Excellency Koji Haneda, paid a farewell courtesy call on President Rodrigo Roa Duterte at the Malago Club House at Malacañang Park on November 10. They had wide-ranging discussions to further strengthen the Philippines-Japan bilateral relations in various areas, such as maritime security, economic development cooperation, Mindanao peace process, and people-to-people and cultural exchange. During the call, Ambassador Haneda was conferred the Order of Sikatuna with the rank of Datu.
