UPDATE: More Japanese Business show support of Typhoon Odette Efforts, raises Php 20M worth of donations

Japan shows unwavering support to Typhoon Odette Relief Efforts, as assistance more Japanese Businesses in the Philippines extend their relief assistance. Japanese Businesses have now raised relief money and supplies worth Php 20 million. This increase in support will greatly contribute to the relief efforts of the Philippines government and help uplift the lives of our Filipino friends. 

Before this, the Japanese government initially provided relief goods and supplies through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on December 23, 2021. This was later followed up by an Emergency Grant Aid of USD 13 million (approximately PHP 663 million) to multiple international organizations - the WFP, UNICEF, IFRC, UNHCR, UNOCHA, and IOM - for the implementation of humanitarian assistance for survivors of Typhoon Odette.
