Ambassador Endo pays courtesy call on DOLE Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma

On 23 May 2024, Ambassador ENDO Kazuya paid a courtesy visit to the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the Honorable Bienvenido E. Laguesma.
 
During the meeting, both parties discussed on a range of topics, including Japanese companies in the Philippines, Japan’s assistance with labor-related projects for the Philippines, and foreign worker acceptance schemes in Japan.
 
Ambassador Endo and Secretary Laguesma expressed appreciation for the strong relations between Japan and the Philippines and looked forward to working closely in enhancing labor cooperation between the two countries.
