Ambassador ENDO Kazuya Visits Philippine Star Office

On 04 October 2024, Ambassador ENDO Kazuya visited the Philippine Star Office in Parañaque City. He was given a warm welcome by the key executives, including Philippine Star President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Miguel Belmonte, Editor-in-Chief Ms. Ana Marie Pamintuan, Associate Editors, Ms. Marichu Villanueva and Ms. Doreen Yu, and Associate and Lifestyle Editor Millet Mananquil.
 
During the meeting, President Belmonte expressed his appreciation to Ambassador Endo for the visit. They discussed a range of topics including political and security issues, cultural and people-to-people exchanges, and economic cooperation. President Belmonte, the Philippine Star executives, and Ambassador ENDO all expressed that strengthening the ties in these areas is important to foster mutual growth and understanding.

Likewise, Ambassador Endo commended the Philippine Star for their crucial role in helping strengthen Japan-Philippine relations. He also expressed his gratitude for the newspaper’s extensive coverage of the Japan Embassy's activities—emphasizing on the importance of such media coverage in fortifying bilateral ties and fostering a deeper understanding between Japan and the Philippines.
