Ambassador ENDO Kazuya Visits De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde for Ambassador Lecture Series

On 4 December 2024, Ambassador ENDO delivered an insightful discussion about the bilateral ties of Philippines and Japan, at the De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) as part of the Ambassador Lecture Series organized by the School of Diplomacy and Governance (SDG). The event brought together students and faculty to deepen their understanding of international affairs, with a focus on the enduring friendship between the two nations.

The Ambassador Lecture Series serves as an essential platform for students to engage with and learn from prominent diplomats on various regional and global issues. The program is designed to enhance the students' knowledge of international relations and inspire future leaders in diplomacy and governance. 
 
In his presentation, Ambassador ENDO emphasized that the relationship between the Philippines and Japan continues to flourish, rooted on mutual trust and cooperation—which are two vital aspects in diplomatic relationships.

 


Ambassador ENDO further expressed his optimism for the future of Japan and the Philippines collaboration in various fields, ranging from peace and security, trade and investment to cultural exchange and education. Highlighting the importance of the youth in sustaining and enhancing bilateral ties, he encouraged the students to actively participate in initiatives that promote friendship, understanding, and cooperation between the two nations.
 
The event concluded with a question-and-answer session wherein Ambassador ENDO enthusiastically responded to questions from students, further inspiring these future diplomats to play a role in promoting international cooperation.
