Ambassador ENDO Kazuya attends PHILFEJA New Year’s Celebration

On 28 February 2025, Ambassador ENDO Kazuya attended the Shinnenkai or New Year’s celebration of the Philippine Federation of Japan Alumni (PHILFEJA). 

During his remarks, Ambassador Endo lauded PHILFEJA and its various organizations for their achievements in recent years, citing the impact of their projects in strengthening the bilateral relations between Japan and the Philippines. He also highlighted that the two countries have embraced the Golden Age of bilateral relations, emphasizing cultural and people-to-people exchanges as the bedrocks of this momentous milestone.
Bringing together esteemed Japan alumni from all over the Philippines, the event celebrated the achievements of PHILFEJA’s five constituent organizations, and also welcomed PHILFEJA’s newly elected President Mr. Rommel G. Roque. Through presentations from the organization’s different groups, the event highlighted the many efforts of the alumni network to continue strengthening Japan-Philippines relations through academic and people-to-people exchange. 
PHILFEJA is the representative body of the Japan alumni community in the Philippines, comprising various groups dedicated to fostering friendship, academic, and cultural exchange between Japan and the Philippines.
