Ambassador ENDO Kazuya attends the 44th PJFC Awarding Ceremony

On 21 July 2025, Ambassador ENDO Kazuya attended the 44th Philippines-Japan Friendship Celebration (PJFC) and Medal of Merit Conferment Ceremony organized by the Philippines-Japan Society (PJS). 
In this enduring tradition, the PJS honors remarkable individuals each year for their contributions in enhancing Japan and the Philippines’ mutual bond. This year’s awardee, former Philippines-Japan Economic Cooperation Committee Chairman, Mr. Roberto Castillo, was warmly feted in this esteemed gathering. 
 
During his speech, Ambassador Endo honored Mr. Roberto’s contributions and expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the PJS and its partners for their continued support. He also voiced hope for further progress in the relations between the two countries, especially in light of the upcoming 70th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations in 2026.
