Call for Applications to Participate in the 2025 International Bazaar

The International Bazaar Foundation, Inc. (IBF) is organizing an annual International Bazaar in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Spouses of the Head of Mission (SHOM) to raise funds for charitable activities under the slogan "Shop Global, Help Local." The event features participation from diplomatic missions based in the Philippines and other countries. The Embassy of Japan in the Philippines is now inviting applications from Japanese companies and organizations interested in participating in the upcoming bazaar as a Japanese booth.
This is an annual event that attracts approximately 5,000 attendees, primarily Filipinos.
We kindly request that companies interested in participating review the following overview and consider applying.
1. Date and Time:
Sunday, November 16, 2025, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
2. Venue:
World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTCMM), Pasay City
3. Booth Overview:
(1) The bazaar area will feature product booths organized by country.
(2) Size: 1 booth – 2 meters (width) × 3 meters (length) × 2.5 meters (height)
(3) Equipment: 2 tables, 2 chairs, 6 shelves, lighting fixtures, 1 electrical outlet (220 volts), etc.
4. Exhibition Preparation:
On the afternoon before the bazaar (ingress time will be specified), exhibitors will bring in equipment and decorate their booths.
5. Exhibition Costs
1. Booth Rental Fees:
(1) Regular Booth (PHP18,000.00)
(2) Corner Booth (PHP20,000.00)
(3) Food Booth (PHP20,000.00)
* Deadline of Payment: 15 October 2025
* For food booths serving food and beverages, cooking using open flames is prohibited. Refrigeration and heating equipment (additional fee) must be coordinated with the contractor contracted by IBF at a later date.
2. Donations from sales proceeds are optional. Please note that booth fees and donations will be allocated to various charitable activities, including scholarships for university students, support for women's organizations, child welfare groups, and medical support organizations.
3. Payment for booth rental fees and donations should be made to International Bazaar Foundation, Inc.
4. All expenses incurred in connection with participation, including labor costs, shall be borne by the exhibitor.
6. Application Guidelines:
1. Eligibility: Japanese companies or companies wishing to sell Japanese-related products or Japanese food.
2. Application Deadline: August 18 (Monday)

7. Important Notes:
1. If there are many applicants, the Embassy will select participants based on the purpose of this bazaar, taking into consideration space constraints and other factors, and notify you of the results at a later date.
2. Please note that booth assignments will be determined by the Embassy.
3. Once participation is confirmed, cancellation is not possible. Even if you are unable to participate for any reason, the participation fee (booth rental fees) must be paid.
4. The Embassy will not be liable for any accidents or damages that may occur during the bazaar activities (including booth setup, operation, and dismantling). Additionally, if any damage is caused to the venue facilities, you may be charged forrepair cost by the venue.
