Immediately Needs  

 

ONE (1) NATIONAL STAFF MEMBER 

at the Economic Section 

(Assistant to the Finance Attaché) 

(Full-time, regular position) 

 

Minimum Requirements 

  • - Bachelor’s degree, preferably in international relations, economic or business-related courses 
  • - Highly proficient in written and spoken English (please include English language test score if previously taken, i.e., IELTS, TOEFL, etc.), Japanese language proficiency is a plus 
  • - Excellent writing composition and editing skills, including drafting of formal letters, speeches, press releases, reports, briefings, and meeting summaries 
  • - Strong research skills mainly on macro and microeconomic matters, taxation, government policies and legislations 
  • - Ability to handle and maintain statistical data for regular economic reporting 
  • - Adept in MS Office and other basic office computer applications 
  • - Ability to prepare meeting arrangements and provide logistical support to supervisors and mission delegates from the Japanese government 
  • - Strong event coordination and networking skills 
  • - Highly organized, detail-oriented, hardworking and responsible 
  • - Ability to multitask and perform in a multicultural work environment with minimum supervision 
  • - Minimum three (3) years of relevant work experience is required 
  • - Previous work experience with government or international organizations is a plus
