Ambassador Endo pays a courtesy call on the Acting Chief of the Philippine National Police PLTGEN Jose Melencio Corpuz Nartatez

On 18 September 2025, Ambassador ENDO Kazuya paid a courtesy call on the Acting Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) PLTGEN Jose Melencio Corpuz Nartatez to exchange views on public safety and security issues in the Philippines.

Ambassador Endo expressed his concern over recent robbery and holdup incidents involving firearms in Metro Manila. He also called for improving public safety and taking further preventive measures. 
 
During the meeting, Ambassador Endo and Acting Chief Nartatez reaffirmed their strong commitment to further deepening their cooperation on public safety and security in the Philippines.
