Ambassador ENDO pays a courtesy call on Province of Cebu Governor Pamela S. Baricuatro

On 14 October 2025, Ambassador ENDO Kazuya paid a courtesy call on the Province of Cebu Governor Pamela S. Baricuatro at the Governor’s office. 

During the meeting, Ambassador Endo conveyed his heartfelt condolences to those affected by the recent earthquake. As a steadfast partner, the Government of Japan is providing disaster relief assistance through the Japan Disaster Relief (JDR) of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Japan Self-Defense Forces (JSDF). 

Moreover, both Ambassador Endo and Governor Baricuatro expressed readiness to work closely in advancing strong economic relations between Japan and the Province of Cebu through further collaborations in tourism and infrastructure.
