Ambassador and Madame ENDO attend “SAGA: A Wagyu Tasting Journey” at Hotel Okura Manila

On 12 November 2025, Ambassador ENDO, together with Madame ENDO Akiko, attended “SAGA: A Wagyu Tasting Journey” held at Hotel Okura Manila. The event, organized to promote Saga Beef, was also attended by officials from Saga Prefecture, representatives of the Saga Agricultural Cooperatives, restaurateurs, members of the media, and the public. 

In his opening remarks, Ambassador Endo highlighted the distinctive qualities of Japanese Wagyu, particularly Saga Beef, as well as the unique appeal and charm of Saga Prefecture. He expressed his hope that the event would help further introduce high-quality and delicious Japanese Wagyu to more Filipinos. 

Guests were also treated to special dishes prepared by the chefs of Hotel Okura, featuring Saga beef as the main ingredient.
