Ambassador ENDO Kazuya attends the Annual Board Meeting of the US–Philippines Society

On 10 February 2026, Ambassador ENDO Kazuya attended the Annual Board Meeting hosted by the US -Philippines Society. 

Ambassador Endo participated in the session titled “Trilateral (PH-U.S.-Japan): Strategic Cooperation and the Luzon Economic Corridor Initiative,” alongside the Philippine Ambassador to the United States Jose Manuel ‘Babe’ Romualdez, and U.S. Chargé d’Affaires ad interim to the Philippines Robert Ewing.

During the session, Ambassador Endo highlighted the strategic value of trilateral cooperation among Japan, the United States, and the Philippines across various fields. These areas include economy, such as cooperation in the Luzon Economic Corridor, and security. The participants reaffirmed the necessity to further strengthen and develop this trilateral cooperation for the peace and prosperity of the Indo-Pacific region and the international community.

Furthermore, Ambassador Endo emphasized the significance of non-government actors, including Track 1.5 initiatives, in trilateral cooperation. He also emphasized the importance of the United States-Philippines Society’s efforts in this regard.
