Ambassador ENDO Kazuya meets with DOT Secretary Dita Angara-Mathay

On 14 May 2026, Ambassador ENDO Kazuya paid a courtesy call on Department of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Dita Angara-Mathay at the DOT Central Office in Manila. 

Ambassador Endo expressed Japan’s commitment to work in close cooperation with the Philippines across a wide range of fields. This includes further promoting tourism and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries. 
 
The two officials also discussed follow-up cooperation on waste management, as well as the upcoming State Visit to Japan of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.
