Ambassador ENDO Kazuya meets with DICT Secretary Henry Aguda

On 14 May 2026, Ambassador ENDO Kazuya paid a courtesy call on the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Henry Aguda.  
 
During the meeting, Ambassador Endo expressed Japan’s commitment to deepen cooperation in the field of telecommunications cultivated between the two countries, particularly in light of recent developments such as the updated Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP).  
 
Ambassador Endo and Secretary Aguda also exchanged views on President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.’s upcoming State Visit to Japan, expressing their hopes that the visit would contribute to further strengthening relations between Japan and the Philippines.
