Ambassador Endo pays a courtesy call on DTI Secretary, Ma. Cristina A. Roque

On 18 May 2026, Ambassador Endo paid a courtesy call on the Department of Trade and Industry（DTI）Secretary Ma. Cristina A. Roque. They exchanged views on the promotion of trade and investment between Japan and the Philippines, as well as the bilateral cooperation in the region. 
 
Ambassador Endo and Secretary Roque also discussed President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.’s upcoming State Visit to Japan, expressing their hopes that the visit would contribute to further strengthening relations between Japan and the Philippines.
