On 18 June 2026, Ambassador ENDO Kazuya paid a courtesy call on Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Kim Robert C. de Leon.
The two officials exchanged views on ongoing and future initiatives aimed at strengthening Japan–Philippines cooperation, particularly in the areas of fiscal management, Official Development Assistance (ODA), and economic collaboration.
Japan looks forward to continuing its close coordination with the DBM in support of the Philippines’ development priorities and to deepening the longstanding partnership between the two countries.
