Ambassador ENDO Kazuya pays a farewell call on DICT Secretary Henry Rhoel Aguda

On 20 August 2026, Ambassador ENDO Kazuya paid a farewell call on Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Henry Rhoel Aguda. 

Ambassador Endo expressed his deep gratitude for Secretary Aguda’s leadership in advancing the cooperation between Japan and the Philippines in the field of information and communications, including AI and digital technologies. 

Secretary Aguda expressed his appreciation to Ambassador Endo for his valuable contributions towards deepening cooperation between Japan and the Philippines in this area. He affirmed that, building on the progress achieved thus far, he remains committed to advancing concrete and meaningful collaboration in information and communications technology, particularly in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence and digital technologies.
