Ambassador Endo pays a farewell call on DEPDev Secretary Arsenio M. Balisacan

On 25 August 2026, Ambassador ENDO Kazuya paid a farewell call on Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev) Secretary Arsenio M. Balisacan . 

During the meeting, Ambassador Endo expressed his sincere gratitude to Secretary Balisacan for his significant efforts in strengthening Japan-Philippines economic relations through his strategic leadership. He also noted the considerable progress achieved in economic cooperation between the two countries. 

Secretary Balisacan expressed his appreciation for Ambassador Endo’s contributions to advancing Japan-Philippines cooperation in economic development. He also conveyed his optimism that both countries will further strengthen their bilateral collaboration and promote sustainable and inclusive growth. 

The meeting reaffirmed the strong and enduring partnership between Japan and the Philippines, and the shared commitment of both countries to deepening economic cooperation for the benefit of their peoples.
