2023 Young Leaders’ Program Now Open For Applications

The Embassy of Japan in the Philippines is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 2023 Young Leaders’ Program.
BACKGROUND
The Young Leaders’ Program is a scholarship initiative by the Government of Japan that aims to contribute towards the development of national leaders through deepening their understanding of Japan. It is also part of the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Programs.
The program hopes to help in the growth and development of young professionals and enable them to foster strong relationships with peers from various countries. The ideal is for the program’s participants to become future leaders who will elevate the quality of policy planning activities and contribute significantly to the development of their home countries.

- A Bachelor’s degree holder with excellent academic records
- Highly proficient in English
- Under 40 years old
- Employed with at least 2-5 years of work experience (varies depending on the course)
