Signing Ceremony for “The Project for the Development of Sustainable Fishery Value Chains in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao”

On 4 February 2025, Ambassador ENDO Kazuya signed and exchanged notes for “The Project for the Development of Sustainable Fishery Value Chains in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao” with Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Representative in the Philippines Lionel Dabbadie.
Also in attendance was BARMM Ministry for Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform Minister Mohammad Yacob.


In his speech, Ambassador Endo expressed his hope that the project would strengthen the capacities of local governments and farmers to manage fisheries. He encouraged all relevant stakeholders to continue supporting efforts to build a future where fishers thrive, fishing communities live in peace and prosperity, and marine ecosystems are sustainably managed.
