JMSDF JS Noshiro Conducts Inaugural Port Call at Naval Operating Base Subic

On 26 March 2025, the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) vessel JS Noshiro (FFM-3), under the command of Commander Hori Tetsunobu, Commanding Officer JS Noshiro, successfully conducted its inaugural port call at the Naval Operating Base Subic (NOBS).
 


This significant visit serves as a testament to the increasingly robust maritime partnership between Japan and the Philippines. It reaffirms both nations’ unwavering commitment to upholding peace, stability, and prosperity across the Indo-Pacific region. Japan and the Philippines remain steadfast in realizing their shared vision of a Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP), with both nations committed to further enhancing maritime cooperation.
