Ambassador Endo attends GRIPS Philippine Alumni Chapter Reunion

On 20 September 2025, Ambassador ENDO Kazuya and Madame ENDO Akiko attended the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) Philippine Alumni Chapter Reunion at the National Development Company (NDC) Building in Makati City. The event brought together Filipino alumni who pursued further studies in GRIPS’ public policy and governance programs through various scholarships under the Japanese Government (MEXT), Asian Development Bank (ADB), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Japan-IMF Scholarship Program for Asia (JISPA), and the World Bank. The event was also attended by Professor of International Relations at GRIPS IWAMA Yoko.

During his remarks, Ambassador Endo lauded the alumni for their remarkable dedication and expertise, highlighting their individual efforts as one of the pillars for the strengthened cultural, intellectual, and people-to-people exchanges between Japan and the Philippines. As leaders in their respective fields, Ambassador Endo also conveyed his optimism that the alumni will continue to contribute to driving development initiatives forward with the same excellence they have demonstrated during their studies.
