On November 26, 2025, Ambassador ENDO Kazuya, accompanied by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Philippines Chief Representative Mr. BABA Takashi , visited Rosario Integrated School in La Union Province to observe the activities of Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) members.

At the outset of the visit, the JOCV members presented their respective activity reports. These included presentations by Ms. KANAZAWA, engaged in science education in La Union Province; Ms. DOMON, working in community development in La Union Province; and Mr. YAMAMOTO, active in disaster risk reduction and management in Benguet Province. Following the reports, the Ambassador observed a science experiment class conducted by Ms. Kanazawa and local teachers, and a disaster preparedness seminar led by Mr. Yamamoto.

In his remarks, Ambassador Endo highlighted that Rosario Integrated School stands as a wonderful testament to the long-standing friendship and cooperation between the two nations, as a portion of the facility was constructed with support from the Japanese Government in 1994. He further stated, "I am confident that today's visit will not only showcase the impactful work of our JOCV members but also further strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between Japan and the Philippines, especially in the crucial fields of education and disaster resilience."
