2027 Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Program Applications are now open

The Japan Information and Culture Center (JICC) of the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines is now accepting applications for four categories under the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship program: Research, Undergraduate, Specialized Training, and College of Technology. This will be for the 2027 intake of the program.
Filipino citizens who meet the following qualifications are eligible to apply:

The deadline for submission is on May 29, 2026 (Friday). Only physical documents hand-delivered or mailed to the Embassy will be accepted.
